2002

The Call

Carole Ward is called to serve in northern Uganda amidst a brutal rebel war led by Joseph Kony's Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).

2004

Favor International Founded

Favor International is officially registered in Uganda as "Favour of God Ministries" when government registration became necessary.

2005

77-Hour Prayer Gathering

A 77-hour National Prayer Gathering in Gulu, Uganda unites tribes, leaders, and churches. The war subsequently ceases, with reports of the LRA leaving Uganda.

2007

Expansion to South Sudan

Favor International expands missionary work into Sudan (now South Sudan), reaching new unreached communities.

2015

Juba Office Established

Legal presence and office established in Juba, South Sudan. National prayer meeting contributes to peace treaties.

2024

Chad Expansion

House of Prayer established in N'Djamena, Chad, marking continued growth into new regions of Africa.

Today

14+ Nations

Through indigenous missionary movements, Favor International's influence now reaches 14+ nations across Northeast and Central Africa.
